The family of St. John’s welcomes you. It is an honor to have you as our guest and we look forward to the possibility of participating in your faith journey. St John’s Episcopal Church is made up of a group of warm and caring people dedicated to our mission.  We come from diverse ethnic, socioeconomic and religious backgrounds and share the common goal of loving and serving Jesus Christ and our neighbors. Please come join us!

  • Sunday school is held during the worship service and is for children, birth to age 16. Children join the congregation for the celebration of the Eucharist towards the end of the service. Sunday school is an opportunity for our youth to learn and grow in their faith in God and His son Jesus Christ. It runs from mid August through May of the school year.

"Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."  ~ Matthew 19:13-15

  • Our Service starts at 9:30am on Sundays. Children can attend Sunday school during the service, be cared for in the nursery, or attend worship with their parents. We follow the Episcopal Rite II Service listed in The Book Of Common Prayer. Service consists of prayer, singing, scripture reading, sermon and communion. All Christians are invited to participate in communion, regardless of denomination. Our worship team consists of the Priest, Alter Guild, Ushers, Music and Acolytes.

  • St. John’s Storehouse is our main outreach activity.  It has grown significantly and now severs over 170 families at our monthly distribution.  We provide a “Storehouse” feature where clients are offered items like make-up and over the counter medicine that are not available at other food pantries.   We give client families complete dinners for both Thanksgiving and Christmas.  The team also provides a pancake breakfast for families once a quarter.  It has had a very positive effect on both the clients and the congregation.

  • Come Visit Us!! To get to St. John's you must turn off of North High School Road onto 30th Street and go through 2 stop signs, then turn right into our parking lot.  This is the ONLY way to get to our Church. Other roads do not cut through.
